Hi Folks!  I'm a new hiker only since the pandemic, and even newer barefooter.  I thought I was ready for your first hike but turns out I was still too foot-shy to do the parking lot, so I bagged.  :(  Since then I've been hiking the Fells barefoot nearly every day, starting off in the bigger parking lots where there's always people.  It's been a huge level-up in so many ways to my usual spot (near Mt. Hood/Melrose), and I can't wait to join you all soon!
