Binary downloads in the forum?

Hi all

 

There are some binaries to download posted here: https://groups.google.com/d/msg/ember-plus-discuss/Hp2bzni-FXs/g7hoSCjnFBwJ

 

In my opinion it would be better to publish new files to download in the corresponding downlods section of the Ember+ project:

http://code.google.com/p/ember-plus/downloads/list

 

I think this is the place where people are searching files to download. I would place the files to download there even if they are just beta versions or previews.

 

Any other opinions?

I totally agree with Simon on this one. In the long run binaries
distributed via the mailing lists pollute the list archives.
New binaries should be uploaded to the files section of the project and a
corresponding announcement mail should be sent to both the
ember-plus-disuss and the ember-plus-developments lists.

no problem - I just wanted to start using this forum for something that might raise interest in it...

re-posting the EmberPlusViewer in the dowloads section now wouldnt make much sense because we will have the complete 1.3 package there soon...
