How to Level Texts

Hello all,

I have to say that the weather has been so beautiful huh? I am sure
going to miss the heat and the sun soon!

I know that a big topic for people was finding leveled texts and then
how to find the levels of certain texts. It is a daunting task to have
to level each text manually. I was meeting with my colleagues to do
our summer mailing, and I asked her a quick and easy way. Her
suggestion is to go to scholastic.com!

Once you are at scholastic, you go to the drop down tab on top for
teachers. You will notice under the books section there is the Book
Wizard. Here you can enter a book by title or author. If scholastic
has the book in their database they give the level with the
description! I hope this helps and saves you time!
