The concept of accessing prior knowledge is interesting to me because
each student comes to the classroom with their own experiences in all
the different areas within the content! Even science means different
things to each of the students. I have used a prepared anticipation
guide for a buoyancy unit and would like to consider developing one
for another unit. In addition, I am very interested in other
strategies for accessing students prior knowledge.
