I found this great resource for figuring out the level of the text
using Fry's Readability Formula. It does all of the counting and math
for you!

Hey Jocelyn,
I hope you don't mind, I would like to share this with a Richford
teacher. Math is not my subject, but Ryan is always looking for ways
to involve new ideas.

Hello all,
That is a really great tool for finding level texts! I would also
suggest to go onto google and search for a "readibility calculator".
It typically finds something that works for everyone. Most of it
involves copying and pasting the text into a program and it finds the
level. You can also do this with Microsoft Word!
