Dear all,
As promised, the materials to what was shared on Friday night. I hope that you have learned the 3 important "location" in git and still remember them.
When I reflected upon the journey that we have just started in Sept 5th and the open-course that we have had, I salute the commitment shown by some of you!
Congratulations!
On each night when I went home after the class, my wife will ask me how many people attended the course. I will tell her roughtly 6-8 persons. She may think that it is just a few and why my husband is so "excited about this"...
Well, this is my thought when I started this journey - if only there is 1 person that is willing to follow through this journey, I know that at the end of it, his life will be changed because of the skillset that he/she has learned.
Since there is an average of 6-8 persons/session, I guess that the "butterfly effect" of this open-course is creating a positive impact to this industry on this island. =-) We are part of this impact, both trainer and trainee.
Yeah, learning Linux and Open Source takes time and to really be experts on this field, it takes practice and dedication. So, we need a community to cross-train and cross-share with each other.
It must be a FREE and OPEN software industry for everyone who wants to grow. An PSPEN fits the purpose ultimately. I am grateful for the sponsors and venue it provides.
Each time as I prepared the material for these courses, I realized that putting materials into perspective that is easy to be absorbed required careful thought and flow.
So, forgive me that if my slide-deck is confusing you. But, I also believe that your genuine feed-back has helped me to grow too. For that I thank you....
For God loves everyone of us through his sacrificial love in this Christmas, we ought to show love and great service to one and another for good course.
Wishing you a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year.
