Junior Hardware Developer

About the position:

Candidates should have a firm desire of learning and surpassing themselves, in addition to good English skills. The Junior Hardware Developer will design electronic circuits (schematics and PCBs) which will be integrated into the satellite computers we are developing. In addition, he/she will perform the necessary failure analyses and simulations to increase our products’ reliability. This role will also be responsible for running any necessary tests on our manufactured hardware to verify its correct operation.

Key responsibilities:

• Schematics analysis and design (analog and digital circuits)
• PCB analysis and design
• Failure analysis (FMEA) and simulations
• Testing and troubleshooting
• Documentation

REQUIRED education, work experience, knowledge/skills:

• Advanced knowledge in electronics engineering
• Schematic circuits design
• PCB design
• Embedded systems design and troubleshooting
• Experience in the use of electronics lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.)
• Knowledge of computer and microprocessor architectures

DESIRABLE education, work experience, knowledge/skills:

• Software Altium
• Python
• FPGA, HDL (VHDL/Verilog), and simulation
• Matlab
• C Programming

Required English level:

• Intermediate
