The stuffs we build together will be the heart of future weather forecasting, geolocation, earth observation, and communication satellites, and will help humankind improve life on this planet and conquer other planets in our solar system. 

We work in a flexible manner, with daily core working hours that go from 10 am to 4 pm. The staff complete the rest of their commitment in whatever way works best for them – nobody is counting. In addition, team members have the option (according to responsibilities) of working on site or remotely.

Junior Python Developer with Electronics Background

About the position: We are looking for a Python developer with an electronics background and a desire to learn and grow professionally. The role will include responsibilities such as high-speed interface development, system-on-chips generation, and process automation.

Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina

Required skills/experience:

Knowledge of:

• Python
• At least one compiled language (C, Go or Rust)
• Linux
• Electronics instrumentation handling (oscilloscopes, sources, etc.)

Self-motivation

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Intermediate English

Desirable skills/experience:

Knowledge of:

• Development on embedded platforms such as Raspberry
• Development of firmware for embedded systems
• Programming in VHDL, Verilog or other HDL language
• Time series database (e.g.: influxdb)
• Docker
• CI/CD
• Test-driven development

Advanced English

Hola, saludos. Esta opción se ve realmente muy interesante. Yo soy ingeniero eléctrico graduado en Camagüey, Cuba. Tengo ya cerca de dos años de experiencia trabajando con estas tecnologías (Python, C/C++,  Qt, Go, VHDL, Linux, entre otras) sobre todo con FPGAs Altera y Xilinx. Me gustaría saber si esta propuesta puede ser remota, al menos por un tiempo y a quien debería dirigirme. Saludos
