Ok, we have created the branch for the 2.3 release: "release-2.3". Any changes you wish to go into the final release build should now be added to this branch. Continuous builds are now generated from the release branch instead of master until the actual release.

Due to the upcoming workshop in Galveston we are now on a very short timeline. I would like to set next Tuesday as the target for the final release. It's ok if this slips by a day or two, but it absolutely has to be out by the end of next week so users have time to install the necessary software/data before the workshop. Please plan accordingly!

Hi,

I sent the final message to Stefan Raunser concerning the content of SPHIRE few days ago and I got an automated reply from him he would be back on April 23. I assume he is on vacation and not reading his emails. It is very important he is aware of the content of this message before the release.

I will resend this email to him on the 23d, but I believe he should have a day or two to react to it.

I will let you know how that goes. I assume it should be over by the 25th.

Regards,
Pawel

Hi

I just heard from Stefan and we came to an agreement. Therefore, I am fine with the 23d as a date of release.

Regards,
Pawel
