Hi Email, Currently, the House of Representatives is divided by 218 Republicans and 214 Democrats, and incredibly narrow majority.1 What happens if a vote is tied? Most Americans don’t know. In fact, Pew Research found less than half of Americans also couldn’t name the length of a full Senate term, or who picks the president if the Electoral College is tied.2 Having this information at our fingertips is crucial for navigating the political whirlwind currently wreaking havoc across our country — but we doubt most people want to pick up a textbook to get informed!   That’s why we created the Courageous Zines – informational, engaging digital flipbooks designed to bring essential information about our government to Californians! These zines are designed to be easy to digest and tailored to how adults learn. Plus, they’re fun to read.   We’ve created these zines, but now we need your help to get them into the hands of Californians. Can you donate today to help us distribute these zines from Crescent City to San Diego? DONATE We know that adults are busy. From working one, two, or even three jobs to caring for children or elders and engaging in their community, time is not a resource many of us have. That’s why we created these zines to be quick and easy to digest on your commute or at the gym.   Covering a wide range of topics – from how Congress and the California state legislature work to how tech giants like Palantir are empowering Trump’s deportation agenda – these magazines provide crucial information people need to take action.    We know that by partnering with groups all over California, we can get these in front of the people who need this information to understand their own power.
