It’s just one part of a lobby machine used to ensure that there are no guardrails put on Big Tech, including AI, which is projected to earn $1.8 trillion in revenue in the next six years.4
These tech bros are propping up the Trump regime's surveillance and crackdowns on Americans, including ICE raids and deportations.
Here in California, the Big Tech lobby spent $12 million last year to squash legislation that would regulate data centers, rein in predatory AI pricing, and hold corporations accountable for harmful social media content. Most of these bills died in the legislature or were vetoed by Governor Newsom.5,6,7
And with the 2026 midterms looming, Big Tech is spending hundreds of millions of dollars to ramp up for the elections. Meta alone has one lobbyist for every six members of Congress.
