We discuss two important questions:
1)
Does it make sense to make workshop on email topic, where research
themes are quite diverse? (HCI, search, NLP, content analysis, social
networks, protocols, communication, ...)
2)
What is the main problem and how we can help email research?

The main message was following:
1)
It make sense, even when research topics are diverse, because no
single approach can solve email challenges. So people meet and
exchange ideas.
2)
From audience we got the comment, that email research does cool things
but there is a gap between industry, which could be interested and the
research so next time more industry players should be part of the
workshop.
