Emacs+ scheme not showing up under Preferences > Keys

I installed Emacs+ 4.3.4 into Eclipse Oxygen Release 4.7.0 and restarted eclipse; but I still don't see the "Emacs" scheme that FAQ says I should see. Having been a long-time Emacs user, would really like to get it to work under Eclipse; hope someone can throw some light on what I'm doing wrong... Thanks!

I'm currently using Emacs+ 4.3.4 in Eclipse 2021-03, and I do see the "Emacs+ Scheme" in the Scheme dropdown (although I prefer to use "Default" and just use my own customizations).

I note that Oxygen is several years old.  I know of no reason why it wouldn't work, but I know it's working in the latest versions.

Hi Mosur, I too am useless without emacs. Might as well

put winter gloves on my hand with Microsoft, or Google

bindings.

I use Emacs+ every day. I think your issue might be the

Eclipse version. Emacs+ was made unusable at some point

when Eclipse changed some of its inner workings. For several

Eclipse releases Emacs+ was therefore unavailable.

I use Eclipse 2020-09, and Emacs+ works fine. The last few

versions of Eclipse have also worked. I don't *think* the Eclipse

flavor makes a difference. I tend to use the one that leans towards

Javascript development, though I develop in Python almost

exclusively.

Thanks a ton for the pointers guys! I found and switched to Eclipse IDE 2019-09, reinstalled Emacs+, and it all works fine now - Emacs+ shows up as it's supposed to under "Keys".
