Hi again,

It looks like you can almost do this by saving a keyboard macro that does a "Scroll Line Down" followed by a cursor move.  For me, that would work except for the limitation on what I can bind to that macro.  For many years I've used Ctrl-j and Ctrl-z to scroll lines up and down and I can't bind those to keyboard macros in Emacs+.  I'm hoping there's an alternative mechanism to accomplish this.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Hi,

From a google search, I came across the following request which I would also like to know if there's a way to do with this plugin.  Here's the original post from http://www.eclipsezone.com/eclipse/forums/t54209.html

I would like to have the cursor move with the viewport when using doing "Scroll Line Up" and "Scroll Line Down" in the same way it does in Emacs.

My problem is that I use "Scroll Line Up" and "Scroll Line Down" as an immediate scroll that does not use the mouse. However, when I do this, the cursor is left where ever it was and then when I use any of the normal keys such as the arrow keys the viewport goes back to where the cursor is unless I use the mouse to move the cursor to the current viewport.

Is that something that is possible to configure with the Emacs+ plugin?

Thanks,

The scroll line up/down commands (and whatever bindings they posses) are inherited unmodified from the Eclipse Emacs scheme, so in this case they follow whatever model the Eclipse developers were emulating.

No alternatives occur to me off the top of my head at the moment.
Regrettably,
