Has anyone looked at use-package for managing emacs-live package.el dependencies? I've played with it, and the load times are so much better, when it's leveraged. I like what I've got so far. But emacs-live key-bindings are so much better fleshed out.

I realise this conflicts with the established live-bundles. But felt it would be good food for thought, as one can lazily load in packages as they're needed. Huge performance boost.

<rant>Still there's no way to just specify the exact version you want. So the reproducibility of anything using it is nil. Pinned packages only work if you don't share your config with anyone.</rant>
