How to make M-<backspace> delete word instead of killing in helm

Is there a consistent way to make M-<backspace> delete word instead of
killing in all helm sessions?

Same try from ./emacs-helm.sh, you will see M-<backspace> is deleting
word.

NB: Helm is not responsible of all the modifications done by spacemacs
or any other "configuration package" around here.
