Dear All Emaar-Giga Affectees,
Subsequent to our request to Emaar-Giga for meeting, I had received a call yesterday from Ms Aarooj Mallick, Senior Executive Customer Care. She informed to me that a meeting is being arranged at the Karachi Office with the CEO within a weeks time. She explained to me that the delay in the meeting time is because they want to be sure that the queries of the Affectees are well addressed and the CEO or any other senior official is well aware of the entire scenario.
However, I requested her to expedite the meeting time, and she will let me know of the meeting time soon Inshallah.

I personally feel that the Emaar CEO and Pardesi are just buying time from us and waiting for construction etc to start so that they have things in their favor. If construction starts, we would have lost one battle, and if and when sales start, we will lose the 2nd battle.

Pardesi met us in the last week of Feb and said that he will have a proposal by Mar 12, and there is nothing yet. And if the CEO of Emaar needs one week to get info about us to meet then he doesn't deserve to be the CEO.

I think if we wait anymore, it will be detrimental to our stand, I suggest we meet to discuss how to proceed. We need to urgently get the association formed and meet a new lawyer to see what should be done. We need to get stay on construction and marketing, or they will carry on with the project with us as bystanders.

By calling Pardesi and Emaar people again and again, we are showing them that we are weak and will allow them to take advantage of the situation.

I agree with you, we should form the association immediately get it registered and then, file a suit seeking stay against construction and marketing.  These emails will also help us in court that despite of our various reminders they do not even want to meet us, and are taking time saying they dont have answers to our queries.
If they give time its ok we will meet, but in the meanwhile we should not stop our strategy that was:

1. Formation and registration of Association
2. Filling of Suit for stay against construction and marketing.

The draft deed for the association is with me the lawyer had prepared. It is with me since last 2weeks. I had called Sami Bhai, for permission to give his office address as the association registered office. However, Sami bhai was of the opinion that we should keep some other office.
Please decide on the office address and let me know. In the meanwhile I will send you the draft and I would be needing the names of the office bearers. I will circulate a list of designation and all interested individual should give their names in proposed positions.

I think on one hand we continue our hawkish full pressure policy and on other hand meet them and try to get some thing from them in writing 

that each booking stands valid and would get a same or similar place on the new construction at prefebly the same price.

Also try to convince them that with so many disaffected investors surely they cannot make any new booking or sales 

If they want to launch construction it can be after gaining old investors confidence.
