Dear fellow Australian alumni,
The global economic crisis is expected to affect each and everyone of us. Further, economic conditions globally appear to be getting worse by the day.
In order to enable a better understanding of this crisis, the UniSA Alumni Association of Malaysia Committee will host a public forum entitled "Global Economic Crisis: Challenges and Opportunities" on Wednesday, March 4.
It will feature two top notch speakers. They are Professor Cheah Kooi Guan, Dean of the Graduate School of Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNITAR) and Mr Glynn Lowth, the London-based President of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). A well-published banking specialist, Professor Cheah will speak on "The Global Economic Turmoil: Why and How it Affects Us" while Mr Lowth will speak on "The Global Economic Crisis: Leading in a Downturn".
Details of the forum are as follows:
Date: Wednesday, March 4
Time: 8pm to 10pm
Venue: Theaterette, Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNITAR), Block D, Capital Square, 8, Jalan Munshi Abdullah, 50100 Kuala Lumpur
(A map of Capital Square is available at the following web address: http://www.rahim-co.com/properties/Cap%20Square%20Summary.pdf (on page 3))
The Committee welcomes you to attend this important forum. Admission is free!
I attach a notice on the event. Feel free to circulate it to your colleagues and friends and encourage them to attend.
To register, please email myu...@gmail.com or call Siti Maheran at 019-2164096 or Nithi at 017-3079313.
