All -
Thank for joining us at the Ely Walker meeting last
night. Regardless of Orchard's direct involvement, or short term
resolution of main concerns, I believe a lot was accomplished during
the meeting last night. As stated last night, because of the current
market situation - we're all here to stay for the time being.
The efforts should now be turned to making our building the best
possible living environment. With new people sure to occupy the
building in the very near future, the building needs to come together
as a community - sharing information, solving problems together, and
getting to know one another. I think this process was started last
night, and will continue to evolve with consistent participation.
That said, I've designed a website that will (hopefully) stand as a
central meeting place for all residents of Ely Walker - in hopes that
it'll bring the information, and people, of the building closer
together. Meeting notes, building progress, commercial news, downtown
news/rumors, rooftop gatherings, photos of events, and Orchard
announcements will all be posted on the website.
http://www.elywalkercommunity.comThe
meeting notes from last night are posted, and I'll be posting an update
on some of issues resolutions from our board member, John Markarian,
tomorrow morning - so check back early and often. If you have an
interest to moderate/contribute on the site, please contact me.
