When I moved in in October, I thought I remembered reading that
included in the condo association fees are exterior window washing.
Do you guys remember hearing this?
Secondly, what do you guys think about having a shopping cart of some
sort stored in the parcel room near the mailboxes for instance. I
don't know about you all, but I kind of dread going shopping and
hauling the bags all the way up in 2 or 3 trips.

the shopping cart sounds like a great idea. Sorry, but I have no idea
about the window washing.

Hi Patrick,
Yes, I believe a once a year window washing is included in our condo fees. We discussed this briefly at our last informal association meeting. Our inconclusive verdict was that Orchard washed the windows last year shortly after residents began moving in (which would have been almost exactly one year ago). Once the association has been handed over and we have control of the money, we can set up a schedule for a yearly cleaning.
As far as the shopping cart, sounds like it could be a great idea as long as it's kept out of the way and no one steals it. You might want to mention something to Michelle about the idea.
