Anyone have thoughts on the vending machines recently put in on the
PH? I hear the "building" gets 10%, I wonder if thats EW HOA or
orchard getting the cut.

Seriously? Vending machines? Really? I'll have to see them for myself but that doesn't sound appealing. Hopefully I'm wrong.

yea, michelle told me it is going to orchard, which is something that
i think is wrong, as they are in the common area of the building. If
orchard wants the money, then they should be leasing the space from
HOA, this is something I plan on bringing up at the next meeting.
Also, if they are putting in vending machines for "us" i think they
should ask us what should be sold in them as well. I understand the
building is going to have renters in it and that orchard is going to
control those rentals, however, this is not a pure rental apartment
building and they should at least pretend to follow the HOA by-laws
and views of the owners.

Who's paid for them and who will pay for them if they break? Is this something that comes out of HOA funds? If so, another argument for the revenue coming back to the HOA -- not Orchard.
Anyone heard from Orchard recently? I've sent numerous questions to Josh Wohlreich and received no response beyond the initial, "We're gathering owner questions and we'll get back to you all at once."
