Eastern Retail Spaces

[Soulard Man]

A rumor is floating around that the two spots in the Eastern portion
of the building are close to being leased. Someone has stated that an
Ace Hardware and a wine bar are going into these spots. Has anyone
else heard the same?

I hadn't heard about the Ace hardware, but a guy I know is in on the
wine bar. He has no idea right now on any planned opening dates or
any of that good stuff, but it sounds pretty sweet.

I read about both on UrbanStl but that's the extent of my gossip. I'm excited to hear that more necessities are going in downtown; pet stores and hardware stores are really what make the neighborhood livable.

This is way unrelated....but did anyone on this list take two 35 lbs. dumb bells from the penthouse kitchen area?

Since the management office removed the free weights, I purchased my own and was storing them in the kitchen area.

Long story short - they were *misplaced* about a week ago.  If anyone has any knowledge, please email me.

There was an article in the PD about ACE -- they hope to open by Halloween I believe. It sounds like the wine bar is thanks to someone close to Ely Walker residents. Anyone have updated info on that?

It will be so great to see these spaces come alive!!

What about the Tudor building down the street? Any shops open yet?
