Hi Folks,
Ely Climate Group is back! We took a break in December and January, but we are ready for action now. We hope you will join us.
Next Tuesday Feb 10th the Ely Climate Group will meet at 4pm in person and by zoom in in the renovated Community Center (formerly the Senior Center). We will be in the smaller room on the left as you enter. Our topic concerns the question we all ask ourselves about this important issue “What Can I Do about Climate Change” This is a monster topic.
For this meeting we want to keep it local and personal. We know that some people have changed their lives completely to lower their climate and environmental impact – but we cannot all afford time/money/effort to do that. We are not advocating for all of us to live in zero energy homes eating vegetables, although kudos to those that do. But we should look at what modifications to our lifestyles are useful and what we can accept and maintain.

We will not be able to cover all 100 solutions, maybe we will have to have another meeting!
This needs discussion. Come and share your own efforts and learn from Heidi and from your neighbors. Get inspired!
