Is this black bear scat?

It looks like potato sausage.  It's been raining today.  That's a quarter on the leaf for size comparison.  

I estimated the size is approximately 6.8" long x 3.6 inches wide.

 I took photo just before 6 pm (Oct 22nd) where the path splits down into dirt ATV trail and the asphalt "pedestrian bridge" 

The small hidden bridge is a short cut between Lake Shagawa Road to Semers and the one-block deadend W Shagawa Rd.

Dear Frederica,

The scat could well be black bear.  It could also be wolf.  If it is filled with deer hair, it is most likely wolf.
