Snowshoe hares

I believed I had just one around my place.  Yesterday I took a photo and could only see a teeny tiny amount of brown.  Today I took another and its almost all brown.  Do they change this fast or. ore likely there is more than one.

Norma, you likely have more than one snowshoe hare around your place.  I know that a couple other folks in your neighborhood have several around their places.  Also, according to many online sources, it takes snowshoe hares about 10 weeks to transition from white to brown or brown to white — a process that involves growing a whole new coat of hair.
