Trailing Arbutus

Trailing Arbutus was in full bloom over this way this week. They were in a stand of Jack Pine. Despite some sore old knees I had to get down close to sample their lovely fragrance.

I found Trailing Arbutus flowering at the Fenske Campground today.  These can be found easily further up the Echo Trail, especially the North Arm Trails. I have not seen any south of Fenske or along the Fernberg.  If you have seen them south of Fenske or along the Fernberg, please let me know.  Thanks!
