Lynx tracks

Hi!

Found these today on a woods ramble.  Based on Norma’s amazing resources, I think it’s a lynx track.  But would love some coaching/guidance.  The track was fairly round, the pad seemed to have a slight ‘m’ shape, the size was between 3” and 4”, there was no evidence of nail marks, and while my Labrador was sinking at least 4”, this animal was staying on top for most of its steps.

I checked out these lynx tracks today but there were so many snowshoe hare, deer, and other tracks that it was impossible to follow them. The lynx will probably stick around since there is plenty of food.   Thanks for the report.
