Mixed species flocks? Gray Jay and Flickers

For the last two days, I've had a small flock of 1-2 Flickers and 2-3 Gray Jays arrive and graze on our septic mound. They stay 10-15 minutes then move on. Interesting to have one resident species and one migratory species working together like that. They all leave together and I hear both of their calls as they depart. Has anyone else seen this combination? Or other late-summer collaborations like this?
