I found this mushroom with a red cap and yellow highlights to match the stem quite pleasing to the eye.

The Seek app IDs this as Witch's Hat.

I was under the impression that witches wear black hats.

Whatever the case, it's a very nice looking and dramatically red mushroom.

For whatever reason, I've seen more little red mushrooms this fall than I remember seeing in the past.

And I haven't even been out and about looking for mushrooms.

Actually, I've been lying pretty low and slow for a while, but I am feeling better as I'm recovering from pneumonia.
