Yesterday at the S. Kawishiwi River (loon) and Birch Lake Dam, (kinglet).
As others have reported there were numerous flocks of Dark-eyed Juncos foraging on the shoulder of the highways I traveled Saturday and Sunday (169, 1, 21, 120). Chipping and American Tree Sparrows made up a significant portion of two flocks I stopped to observe closely yesterday.
