Thanks to the wind keeping the warblers, etc. kinda quiet, I've had a little time to edit/process photos taken earlier this week. While out in the Old Koschak Farm WMA, NE of Ely, on Wednesday, May 13, I photographed
what I thought was a White-throated Sparrow. When I got a good look at it on my computer tonight, I realized it wasn't a WTSP... I let Merlin do its thing and it id'd it as a Savannah Sparrow... and flagged it as being "rare"! I only got one shot of it in
any case!
