Between this morning and yesterday, birds seen along Passi Road on the north shore of Burntside Lake include:
Osprey
Eastern Bluebird
Black-throated Green Warbler
Palm Warbler
Hundreds of Yellow-rumped Warblers!

Interesting. I haven't seen or heard a yellow-rumped all day here in Isabella, so the wave you encountered may be local and not part of a regional movement.
