We had a lynx show up yesterday, eating off a roadkill deer kill deer we put out for the birds. Spent over two hours here yesterday, and then was back this morning, eating, then grooming itself and napping under a tree about 15 feet from our cabin, then eating again. While it was napping it got disturbed by a squirrel, the lynx leaped up and then chased the squirrel up a medium size jackpine about 15 ft up. Didn’t get pics of it climbing because Marshall had the SD card in the computer and was editing pics when it happened. First time we’ve ever seen one and just amazing to get such extended time watching.
