Ruby-throated hummingbirds are still busy at flowers and feeders in the yard this afternoon. Two red-eyed vireos hit a window, were dazed briefly, and flew off a few minutes of resting. This morning at Mary Louis's small patch of swamp milkweed, there were 5 monarch caterpillars busy feeding on leaves.
