Alright studdy-buddies. I posted this sentence as my status message
on Twitter. It took me an embarrassing amount of time to formulate,
but here it is for your back-translation joy:

Lelyëanyë Mórdorna quettë i-Tengwaron.

Let's start a relay! Be the first to translate my sentence (freebie:
for jest sake, I've translated the name of a neighboring city,
Moorpark, as Mórdor). Then, reply to the group with your answer, and
then pose a new translation exercise in the same language. This way,
each round will switch between translating from Quenya to English, to
English to Quenya. Commentary will naturally ensue as we pick each
other's translations and recommend alternatives.

As you can probably tell, it has been a long long time since I even
looked at any Quenya, but maybe this is just what I need to get going
again.
