Fromtime to time, I get telemetry logs that are not playable with MissionPlanner. I think, it might have to do something with data corruption during the connection process (UDP), because it only happens when I connect the aircraft using my long range system (DragonLink). Nevertheless, while flying, the ground station displays the data as expected and I have good signal strength.
Hi Felix
I played the .tlog file with my MissionPlanner. You are right it is not good. For me it looks that something with your PreArm check is not compatible with MP. Do you have a hardware safety switch?
The voice is telling you to press the hardware safety switch for a long time. ( about 3 minutes) There are EKF, Mission command numbers, Waypoint messages, low Battery and finally a Battery failsafe info.
During all those voice messages as you have discovered yourself the HUB shows only the timer and signal strengths moving.
But I read from start to finish DISARMED and NO GPS. The file is definitely corrupted by the Telemetry radio or MissionPlanner is halted by failded preArmcheck!?
But I am guessing here strongly, I have no experience with your kind of Telemetry radio.
All strategy is a function of situation. Situation varies not only as a function of the individual company and market, but also of time. Remember that classic Silicon Valley strategy books were written in a different time and thus had some implicit assumptions built into them. For example,
While there certainly remains a large winner-take-all world (e.g., AI) that dominates most Silicon Valley thinking, there is now also a parallel, more mundane world. The danger is when strategic thinking designed for one gets applied to the other.
The biggest risk here is that your make-plan focus inadvertently becomes blinders to external changes in the market (e.g., a new, disruptive entrant) that can ultimately inhibit your ability to make plan going forward. Think: you know you need to grow at 20% and crank up EBITDA to 30%. But you forget to answer the question: why would anyone want to buy from us again?
Why is a barbarian mutually exclusive to a playing-to-make-plan strategy? Only reason I can see is that perhaps a barbarian would not be attracted to such an opportunity or culture but I think I could find plenty of counter-examples.
Basically if the thesis is careful mixing tactics, but if playing-to-hit-plan is also very hard, and comes with significant financial spoils too, then why would there not be a hyper-aggressive playing-to-hit-plan option?
From 2012 to 2018, I was CEO of cloud EPM vendor Host Analytics, where we quintupled ARR while halving customer acquisition costs in a competitive market, ultimately selling the company in a private equity transaction.
Previously, I was SVP/GM of the $500M Service Cloud business at Salesforce; CEO of NoSQL database provider MarkLogic, which we grew from zero to $80M over 6 years; and CMO at Business Objects for nearly a decade as we grew from $30M to over $1B in revenues. I started my career in technical and product marketing positions at Ingres and Versant.
I love disruption, startups, and Silicon Valley and have had the pleasure of working in varied capacities with companies including Bluecore, FloQast, GainSight, Hex, Logikcull, MongoDB, Pigment, Recorded Future, and Tableau.
If we look for brands that most
responsible to consumers and the planet, we think of PlanToys.
This toy brand is outstanding in creating products for child development and using materials that are friendly to both people and the environment.
As a homeschool parent and play researcher, I examine not only the longevity of toys, but also the possibility of multiple uses as well as the developmental skills toys cultivate, which is why I am a strong advocate for the products PlanToys creates.
The strong commitment to sustainability and children's safety sets PlanToys apart from other brands. While there were quite a few companies who had similar ideas around the same time to use reclaimed rubberwood, no one intentionally took action except PlanToys. PlanToys showed us the fearless, timeless and passionate commitment to creating Better Kids, Better World.
I would rather spend more money to have something of higher quality and that can last a long time than to buy something that will only last a short while. Once my child is too old to play with PlanToys items, we will pass them on to someone else!
Road System: this set is perfect for the kiddo who loves to build and rebuild things as well as the kiddo who loves to build cities with their pretend play scenarios - so many possibilities!
Everything we received went above my expectations for quality when you consider how affordable everything is!
The Stacking Rocket surprised me
by how many different uses and functions it had.
I adore the little bus driver that is a fun touch included with the Sorting Bus. I love the detail in the PlanWorld cars and that every car included is a different type of vehicle.
We bought these for my kids, and they're simply fantastic. I appreciate the build quality, and they are made of wood, so they aren't as prone to breaking under the duress all children's toys seem to experience at one point or another.
Grand baby loved watching is move across the floor when under 5 months, at 5 months loves holding it and chewing on it for teething relief. Now 10 months tries to pull toy as cruising along furniture.
I bought this toy almost two years ago for my (then) 8 month old daughter.
At the time, she was extremely fond of grabbing spoons and slamming the table legs with them, so I thought it would be a good idea to channel her energies toward more furniture-friendly pursuits. Hence the wooden xylophone.
The same comprehensive and consistent approach that has been applied to the restoration and management of the Park as a whole has now also been applied to playgrounds. This approach requires an understanding of their history and an appreciation of their place in the larger history of the Park, as well as knowledge of contemporary theories of play, current approaches to playground design, and design standards for accessibility and safety.
I know it might seem silly to call a planner life changing but it really is. Since arriving we have no missed one day of a planned play activity. Instead of wondering what to set up or do, I just look at the planner and it's already there. Took me less than 10 minutes to plan a week with the MMT cards. As it's wipeable you can wrote up your own ideas as well. My daughter loves getting involved with choosing what we are doing and sticking the cards on. Best thing is if you have the MMT cards you essentially have 2 weeks planned as she provides ways to change the activity and make it more challenging. So we just flip the card over and another week planned in less than 2 minutes. Can't recommend the planner and cards enough.
What if you tackled this a different way and started to explore activities that you might really like to do? For example, a friend of mine began playing tennis and she really looked forward to her exercise sessions. As she progressed in her sport she joined a league. Because of the competition, she became interested in improving her game. My friend did a little research and discovered that if she improved her aerobic capacity and her running skills it would give her an edge. So, she hit the trail with a training goal in mind and running was no longer boring. When she saw the great results running had on her game, she was inspired to go to the gym two days a week to improve her swing by strength training. One day she put on her tennis shorts and they fell off because she had lost so much weight. She played her way to her desired end and in the process discovered a new joy in life that will stay with her for years.
People who are involved in sports occasionally get injured. There are things you can do to decrease the risk, but it does happen. I look at it this way: shin splints are better than heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, etc. The key is to play smart. Several rules of thumb for avoiding injuries are:
Design a functional and safe playground with the 3D Planner application. Thanks to this user-friendly app you will be able to create several versions of the playground and choose the one you like the best in just 5 minutes. Upload a photo of the space you have at your disposal and fill it up with Vinci Play equipment. See what your new playground will look like in the morning, in the evening and during different seasons of the year. You will be able to export the created visualizations to .jpg/.png or .pdf files. Our 3D application will calculate the area needed for the installation of the Vinci Play equipment based on their safety zones, so that your modern playground can meet all the requirements of the EN 1176 standard.
Urban Design Ph.D student Dave Amos circles back around to the game that sparked his passion as a kid playing computer games. An advocate for sustainable living and diverse cities, Amos plays through the old school SimCity game providing relevant insights learned over the years in his career.
We ventured out to the yard, I sat down with the boys in the grass with our bubble maker and we talked about the breeze we felt. I pointed out the way my hair, the trees, and the leaves that were all moving in the light wind.
I thenturned on the bubble machine and instant joy erupted in both boys. My youngest, who was a baby at the time, sat on the ground reaching for the bubbles thatfell near him. My toddler began chasing bubbles and trying to catch them withhis hands and mouth.
While you could use a regular wand for a cheaper bubble making option, I absolutely love the Gazillion Bubble Hurricane Machine. It makes so many bubbles at once and made very clear the movement of the wind. I place it on a frisbee or plastic plate to keep any mess from dripping as we move around. We have even taken our bubble machine with us on trips to enjoy this activity again in other locations.
