I am happy to share with you that we are accepting applications for summer batch of CELTA starting from Monday, 6th June- Saturday, 2nd July-16, at Gurgaon. Cambridge CELTA qualification, which is one of the world’s highly respected and prestigious qualification for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. The Cambridge CELTA is accredited at Level 5 on the QCF (Qualifications and Credit Framework), for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
CELTA is also suitable for individuals with little or no previous teaching experience and is one of the most widely taken qualification of its kind. Each year, over 10,000 people choose CELTA to open up a whole world of exciting English language teaching and assessment opportunities.
New teachers – CELTA gives you the training you need to become an English language teacher. It is ideal if you are looking for a new career opportunity in your existing career.
Existing teachers – if you are already working as a teacher but have not had much formal training, you can use CELTA to:
· sharpen your teaching practice
· prove your ability
· get a promotion or a better teaching position.
This course will enable you to:
· acquire essential subject knowledge and familiarity with the principles of effective teaching
· acquire a range of practical skills for teaching English to adult learners
· demonstrate your ability to apply your learning in a real teaching context
With a Cambridge CELTA qualification you would be able prepare your students better for various English language courses and English exam preparation such as IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge ESOL, PTE etc.
Successfully completing the CELTA with Planet EDU will also open doors for you to be associated with us in more than one ways, which includes being considered, to act as our authorised and approved trainer, a presenter, being further trained to be a resource person and also as an Oral Examiner for Cambridge ESOL exams (subject to your meeting other professional requirements and criteria) etc.
Planet EDU would be offering CELTA in Full time course. The duration of the full time course would be of about 4 weeks. The fee for the course including certification is Rs.1,30,000/-, which can be paid in installments as you progress with the course.
Scholarship is available up to Rs.30,000/- to the deserving candidates basis academic, professional experience and performance during the interview. Kindly send the application form before last application date i.e. Saturday, 27th May 2016 along with SOP (statement of purpose) about “why do you want to do CELTA” about 300 word and application fee Rs.10,000/-. Application fee is refundable in case of rejection during the screening process and candidate could not register for the course. In case of candidate withdraw themselves application fee will be forfeited.
