We are pleased to inform you that we are organising workshop on The Art of Storytelling, with one of the leading storytellers from the UK, Giles Abbott. In this workshop, we will share the magic of creating and telling stories with our voices and bodies. Along the way, get tips, challenges, and guidelines to help you create your own storytelling activities.
Workshop Topic: The Art of Storytelling
Date and Time: Saturday, 19 November 2016, 10:00AM to 2:00PM
Venue: British Council (C-515, 5th Floor, ELANTE Office Block, Plot No. 178A Industrial and Business Park, Phase 1, Chandigarh)
Resource Person: Giles Abbott (Professional storyteller from UK)
By the end of this workshop, you can expect to:
- Gain understanding of what oral storytelling is
- Basic but important tips and techniques effective storytelling
- Be inspired to share stories with others
Registration Fee details:
For British Council Member: INR 2500/- per participant
For Non – Member: INR 3000/- per participant
The workshop includes training materials, trainer costs, workshop folder, venue arrangements, refreshments and certificate of participation. Please let us know your interest in attending / nominating participants from your school/institution for this interactive workshop. Registration fee can be paid by cash/cheque/demand draft. Cheques and demand drafts should be in favour of British Council Division payable at New Delhi. There are limited seats and registrations will be on first – come – first serve basis.
