Flyffhas been around for a VERY long time. It was first released globally on December 25th, 2005 by Gala Lab. The game ended up rather popular, being hosted in 13 countries with over 30-million accounts being created. While the game was a massive success, it did run into some trouble in the host department and would switch between several hosts throughout its years. Part of the many problems for Flyff was that for every new host, there were accounts that were lost because of their inability to transfer between services and/or a certain time-limits in order to transfer over said-accounts. For the players that did not play daily or weekly, this could be troublesome as the time-windows for these transfers did seem relatively short and there was a miriad of complaints about this. That and, for accounts that just could not transfer that was not only time wasted but money lost as there were microtransactions in the game.

Flyff ran pretty smooth on my PC but the style is very simple and so, I did not think the game itself would cause me many issues. It is a browser game and therefore it would be very convenient for players that might not have a lot of space on their computer or laptop. Even after changing the graphics to the highest setting and adding in several effects, the game still ran really smoothly. As far as glitches and bugs, I did not run into any while playing the game. There was an instance where my character slowed down close to town and then suddenly I was teleported back due to lag. My FPS dropped dramatically but that had nothing to do with the server and ended up being my own internet connection that was causing the problems. So, I would have to say the game runs really well and would be great for those running on more simple systems.
