hello i am still having this problem if anyone has advice of what i can do i would greatly appreciate it so much!! I bought this game awhile ago and haven't played because i cant figure it out..I like the free real estate and the money cheats there awesome!! I made my sim and I'm at the part where your looking at your city an picking what house you want to live in...so I go to add the free real estate and obviously i open the cheat box and either it has an error code that its not a right cheat or something or it just erases what you wrote and doesn't enter the cheat or do anything just keeps the cheat box up empty..and i tried again when it went blank repetitively and the same thing kept happening!! I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!

I finally tried to give Sims 4 a try-out after being totally discouraged by Sims 3. Anyway I opened up the cheat box and got an error message cannot execute above command when trying to enter the motherlode cheat. My thing with the Sims is house building and designing. I was very surprised to see that this has been a longstanding problem for many people for several years. I didn't however notice any solution in the forums. I'm not in builder mode, I have tried both control/shift/c and testing cheats on and neither was effective with kaching or mother lode. Has anyone come up with a solution?

I was experiencing the same thing. Basically, if you click on the build icon from when you click on the house, you can't do money cheats. You have to click on "play" and from there click build mode (in the top right corner) and you can do all the cheats.

I'm on a mac and I tried motherlode as it says, motherhood, and motherload. Apparently, they all don't work. I was even with my friend and she said she got it working but she was on windows. also, my friend tried it on her other friend's mac but it doesn't work. I am concerned that this actually does affect mac. Also, do you know if MacBook Air has anything to do with it because that is what I have.

anyone who sees the game like this, and its not just this game; its all games in general, shouldnt even bother playing. You're not going to become any beter with cheats, so why use them? and if you start cheating in single player whats to stop you from cheating online? and thats where it does affect me, because allready ive encountered a few cheaters and ass hat extrodinairs.

lol i have a job, i hang out with friends, i have a family; hardly a "SUPER NERD". When I get on my computer to play, I shouldnt have to deal with ass hat little cheaters, that being said, it has nothing to do with being the best, its all about fun; and cheating just isnt fun.

While I might agree with you about people screwing up MP being not all that happy for everyone except perhaps the goof ball doing it,SP is 100% personal and you need to take a chill pill and stop trying to control other peoples personal fun that in no way seems to bother anyone other than yourself as it's only fair and polite...or am I wrong?

As for all of you flaming someone who want a single player cheat, grow up. Just because he wants to cheat in SP to do something he feels like doing doesn't mean he's going to go online and start cheating (it's not [b']that [/b]simple anyway). It's like you're going to flame the people who try to play coop campaign cheaters when they cheat to move to the next level (which is necessary if you want to continue the campaign due to bugs).

To the OP: You can make anything you want in the editor quite easily, at least it's easy to make a mission where you just throw a couple units in and play them. It's a much easier way to get yourself to fly a chopper than to find a way to cheat in SP or edit the existing mission.

I don't have alot of time each month to play the demo and have not played ArmA1 from the 1.08 days so it is like learning to walk again...posts of upset people just don't help me find info I am looking for anymore than the ones I and many others posted in sleep depraved frustration over the demo d/l issue.

I think people are jumpy about cheats since cheats almost ruined ArmA1. Back when arma1 came out there wasnt a server that didnt have someone cheating untill the community/BIS came up with a solution.

So dont be so hard on the guys defending ArmA2 from cheaters since it could really knock down MP play. I can remember how many people played online before and after cheats and it went down drastically.

Since I like to play these kind of city-building games for the creativity, not the challenge I was browsing the web for money cheats for Simcity 4. So far the only one that's worked is weaknesspays, however it is literally painful (the cramp) to try and rack up lots of money while just getting S1000 with every 2 finger taps. Now, I keep seeing people saying to get a mod/plugin to add money cheat, however I'm a bit weird about mods and stuff (outside Steam). So, is there any cheat in the game that allows for +1000 Simoleons to be added?

There is only one good money cheat. To use it you have to have loaded (properly) the extra cheats dll. You can then use the moolah command to reset the balance of your treasury to anything you like. Syntax:

I use it all that time to play in hard mode with an opening balance of 500,000. When the time is right, I take back 400,000. It is ridiculous to turn off the 'easy' features then set the balance to 100,000.

I use the Lottery Ordinance Mod. The beauty of this baby is it allows you to build cities that will not have an ample population or commerce base to pay taxes--especially useful for large infrastructure projects that have high maintenance and operation costs. It will give out a base amount plus some extra money based on population in the city. I use the 10,000 simoleons version with no crime--I just keep it on cities that will have big infrastructure but small or no population.

Just remember to be careful with all money cheats that keep money flowing in. At some time, they can cause a counter to overflow and tip over into negative. Therefore, the "moolah" cheat is the cleanest and safest solution. It's a one-off amount, it doesn't require external downloads, it can't be forgotten to turn off/demolish, and it can be used with any amount.

Most of the time I needed a money cheat at the begining. Normally I spent much time, trying out some network layouts, build streets and junktions and rail and so on and bulldoze it and try different connections. To build up the network first is like cutting a cake into pieces, to give the city parts, quartes/districts, a basic layout.

So often I run out of money before I really started, befor something grew. Later, when the city is running normally I have no need for a money cheat. Those money lots or buildings that give you a certain amount every month often don't help my situation. Mostly I need a bunch of money immediately to try out something, to experiment with a street layout f. e. not continously.
