Although traditionally Slocum has been hiring only Engineers but now Slocum is hiring plain graduates from various streams for the profile of a Software Engineer.
Towards this we wish to hire from your college for our January & February 2014 batch starting tentatively in mid of February 2014. These will all be 2011,2012, 2013 and 2014 candidates who have a 60% and above throughout career.

YOUNG ENGINEER PROGRAM (YEP)
Slocum’s engineering hiring program is called YOUNG ENGINEERS’ PROGRAM (YEP). This is a unique training cum employment program aimed at fresh engineers. Students selected for YEP are trained for 6 month’s at Slocum’s campus in Manesar and the job profile they get as for Network Engineer Profile is in the area of system’s administration for Windows, Networking, Solaris and Linux where as for the Software Engineer Profilethey are expected to provide Quality Technical Software Support & Maintenance through rigorous programming and documentation.
NETWORK ENGINEER PROFILE
Career: Engineers are required to provide server support in the areas of Windows, Networking, Solaris and Linux.
Stipend: INR 7000 per Month during the On the Job Training (OJT)
Location: Chennai and Noida
Designation: Associate Graduate Engineer Trainee
Salary: INR 215,000 p.a (Two Lacs and fifteen thousand Per Annum) to be increased substantially on Probation Confirmation
Eligibility: BE/ BTech (CS, IT, ECE, EEE) with an Aggregate of min 60% and above from Class X onwards.
Program Fees:
You need to pay only INR 50,000* at the start of the training program and the balance fee of INR 35,000* need to be paid in 15 installments starting from first month of your employment with Slocum.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER PROFILE
Career: Engineers would be required to provide High Quality Technical Software Support & Maintenance through rigorous programming and documentation. Also as a Software Tester employees would be required to perform testing and analysis on IT software and products
Stipend: INR 7000 per Month during the On the Job Training (OJT)
Location: Bangalore, Chennai & Noida
Designation: Associate Graduate Engineer Trainee
Salary: INR 200,000 p.a. (Two Lac Thousand Per Annum) to be increased substantially on Probation Confirmation
Eligibility:
· BE/ BTech in the fields of CS/ IT/ ECE/ EEE/ EIE/ Biotech/ Mechanical
· M.Tech in the fields of CS/IT/Software Eng, EEE/ECE/Biotech, Mech.
· M.Sc in the fields of CS/IT
· M.E/M.S in the fields of CS/IT/Software Engineering, EEE/ECE
· MCA
Program Fees:
You need to pay only INR 50,000* at the start of the training program and the balance fee of INR 39,000* need to be paid in 15 installments starting from first month of your employment with Slocum.

Students selected for YGP are trained for 6 month’s at Slocum’s campus in Manesar. The job profile they get is to provide Quality Technical Software Support & Maintenance through rigorous programming and documentation. As a software Tester, Trainees would be required to perform testing and analysis on IT software and products.
Career: Employees would be required to provide High Quality Technical Software Support & Maintenance through rigorous programming and documentation. Also as a Software Tester employees would be required to perform testing and analysis on IT software and products
Stipend: INR 5000 per Month during the On the Job Training (OJT)
Location: Bangalore, Chennai & Noida
Designation: Associate Graduate Trainee
Salary: INR 160,000 p.a. (One Lac Sixty Thousand Per Annum) to be increased substantially on Probation Confirmation
Eligibility: BSc (IT/ CS/ Physics) and BCA
Program Fees:
You need to pay only INR 50,000* at the start of the training program and the balance fee of INR 25,000* need to be paid in 15 installments starting from first month of your employment with Slocum.
