Find elm-format for 0.17 here:

Mac:

Windows:

Linux:

Regarding the new syntax for the `module` statement, this version of elm-format will automatically migrate 0.16 files to the 0.17 format.

Please report any 0.17-specific elm-format issues here to elm-dev, and not to the github issue tracker.

In addition, expect the next elm-format alpha release shortly after the public Elm 0.17 release.

Thanks!

I have outlined things here. This way I can edit it if there are any problems!

Process: I want this thread to be focused on things like: I ran into problem X with the installer. It looks like link Y is broken. Etc. Otherwise, start new threads to talk about particular aspects of things.

Hi Aaron,

Are there any notes about other changes coming with elm-format 0.17?

I haven't been good about keeping a changelog yet, but you can see the open and closed issues: https://github.com/avh4/elm-format/issues?q=milestone%3A%220.3.0+public+beta+candidate%22

It is mainly handling more edge cases with multiline constructs, more correctly dealing with number literals.

There is also still ongoing consideration of 2- vs 4-spaces which possibly could lead to a change in elm-format-0.3.0-alpha.

Thanks for the link.

Stuff with blank lines in imports and records is really awesome!

Also while in original discussion I was more about 2-spaces now I think 4-spaces are much better.
