Just to let you know, I read and appreciate all of these emails regarding the neighborhood. Any chance you have an idea what is being built in the front?

Hi Chris,

I am really just now getting back into this newsgroup (I kind of slipped for a minute). Thanks for the reply and please let your neighbors know to sign up for this newsgroup. The more folks that we have on the group, discussing issues, problems and celebrating the good things as well, the stronger our neighborhood becomes.

I 'hear' that a church purchased the property to the south of Ella Crossing Drive and will be building a sanctuary there. I have no solid information on the name of the church or what the plans are for the building and parking, but I am sure there will be some signs posted soon. I have been instructed that the HOA may have more complete information and we are all encouraged to contact them for more information (if I find out any additional information from them, I will be sure to post).

Talk soon,

Bruce

I think the part that concerns me is:

1) They have not notified any residents of their plans;
2) I can find nothing on the Internet about their church (I'm generally suspicious of churches anyhow)

I would hope at some point they'd erect a marquee telling folks of their plans, but perhaps that is wishful thinking.

At least we know a bar and nightclub aren't going there. That is cause for celebration I guess.

Exactly! The wife and I were talking about what could possibly go there and it only seems to us something private or beneficial to the neighborhood would be built there. I could not find anything on the company either, except for an address. I guess in time we will know.
