Do you know of any spikes in car break ins this summer? I saw the residents car missing all 4 wheels a month ago on the corner of Burnell Oaks Ln and Ella Enclave. And i woke up this morning to find out my car had been ransacked over night. Nothing was taken as i dont ever leave anything valuable in there but you could tell somebody was searching thru it. And I'm also on Burnell Oaks Ln. This is really upsetting.

I have not heard of anything. Still trying to get this group off the ground, but haven't had a lot of success in attracting people to it. I think the more we discuss and keep an eye out for each other, the better we will be.

Tips: Keep lights on at night and if possible, park your car in the garage.

It wouldn't hurt to ask HCSO to make a patrol through every now and then, but it helps if it's more than the same person calling.
