i don't know where to ask this kind of question and on github issue tracker i thought not good idea.

The question is, as elkarbackup is using rsync is it possible to somehow set to be able to work as daily incremental backup?

Yes, that's how Elkarbackup works. First copy is full, after that only incremental copy is done.

Yes, from restore view it seems like each backup is full, but that's because hardlinks. :-)

Sync first When sync_first is enabled, all sync behaviour happens during an additional sync step. Even hourly calls only rotate the directories, without even connecting to the client. This ensures that the snapshots are consistent with the cost of an additional snapshot used only for syncing.

Does it mean that if the source is unavailable the rotation would still create the rotated folder, or?
