Inclusion, exclusion...

Greetings,

We are evaluation ElkarBackup and have encountered a snatch (maybe due to our misunderstanding of the program);

Regarding Inclusion/Exclusion, it says :

Exclude and include

[...]
As you can see the application backs up all files by default, excluding only those which match an exclude pattern and do NOT match any include pattern.
[...]

However, when we configure this :

exclude : /FOLDER
include : /FOLDER/SUBFOLDER

...it doesn't backup /FOLDER/SUBFOLDER.

It seems to be contradicting the manual. Is that a bug or is this feature not supported ? Or maybe we don't use it as intended ?

Sometimes rsync is quite special with the syntax.

Thanks for the tip; after some attempts it worked for local files but when crossing filesystems boundaries it still doesn't work... Any ideas ? I checked and the -x option is not set in my options.
