Hi!

Elkarbackup v1.3.0 has been recently published, with a lot of interesting and expected features as "Multiple backup locations" and "Multiple backups at a time". Check the release notes.

Upgrading from previous versions
As always, in your Debian/Ubuntu based distribution, you can upgrade your previous Elkarbackup version with: apt-get update && apt-get upgrade

However, we'd like to share some important information about the new version and the upgrade process:
  • Required PHP minimum version is now PHP 5.5. So Debian Wheezy is not supported anymore. More info here.
  • If you use a custom backup location, different from the default one, check your settings after the upgrade. You may need to set up again your backup location. More info here.
  • We've recently detected that ELKARBACKUP_URL env variable does not have the correct value in job-level scripts. This can produce an unexpected script-level error in the backup job. We'll be fixed in the upcoming version. More info here.

Thanks!
