Hello!

A few weeks ago I was looking for a PDF generation library for Elixir. I found none, though there was the erlguten library in Erlang. Unfortunately, its architecture prevented concurrency. I thought we'd probably need a full-featured library at some point, so I started writing one.

I would love feedback on the code and any feature requests are welcome! Templating is high on the list along with custom fonts and better docs. I'll upload it to hex once those get ironed out.

Thanks!

Chris

Great stuff! I was just about to writing a library for working with PDFs because I could not find anything in Erlang. Glad I checked here first. What I will be doing is mostly filling out pdf forms so I'll pull the down the code and check it out. Thanks for working on this I think it will really help the Elixir ecosystem. It seems like we all have to deal with PDFs at some point.

Hey James,

That's mostly what it is meant for. I've been working on templating for a few days and realized that it necessitates fully parsing the template. It's going to take a little while for that to be built, but I don't think it will be too bad.

If there are specific features you need that aren't available now, feel free to open an issue and I'd be happy to implement it.

Best,
Chris
