hi,
i've tested the version 1.9.18. and i have a problem with the wlan.
If i scan for open netwoks i found all of them. but i could not enter.
I couldn't fix the problem.
i had the same problem before v1.9.15 in version 1.9.15 it works
fine .
It's a "Lenovo 3000 N100" (Notebook). the Wlan cart is a "Intel
Wireless 3945ABG o. 4965AGN"

Hello
do you mind to make some tests?
please do this as root:
iwconfig wlan0 essid "youressid"
where wlan0 is the name of your interface and youressid the name of
the open essid you want to connect to
then give:
dhclient
Please make me know if you connect this way in order to track down the
problem.
You can also try to install wicd and see if it works better.

i have already tryed to play with the iwconfig, wicd etc.
it was for me inpossilble to get connected with the network.
do you need some command line displays?
