amsn crashes in 1.9.25

My specifications are:

IBM Thinkpad X40 (not Lenovo version)
1.3 GHz Intel processor
1.2 Gb RAM
Intel Extreme Graphics (128 Mb VRAM)
Centrino chipset

After starting amsn it crashes and sends no error message to its log. After this it leaves a tiny window in the upper left corner in my screen, almost unnoticeable.

Amsn version (0.97.2) is the same as previous version in Elive-compiz. So it must be an ecomorph related issue.

Does it happen anyone else in here?

Joel,

Yes! I have the same problem with 1.9.26. (same problem with Compiz
disabled).

Unfortunately, there is not much information on the aMSN.log

Error Information:
An exit code of 1 was returned from amsn.

Output Data:
There was no output

Error Logs:
There was no error message

Hi, im having the same problem in elive 1.9.28 and 1.9.29 (compiz and
plain elive), but running the terminal and startint amsn from there
gives me the next output:

Unable to open mixer /dev/mixer
X Error of failed request: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
Major opcode of failed request: 2 (X_ChangeWindowAttributes)
Serial number of failed request: 2930
Current serial number in output stream: 2931

I've had the same trouble since 1.9.25 i think, but the problem
remains, so im starting to worry. Any idea?

I compiled the same version from source with no luck. Guess it has to do with the drawing of the welcome window. I wish there was a way to get rid of that welcome window.
